With these few words, "I will be a voice of the student body to the faculty and I have enough confidence to speak for the people", Nzuka Maambo has managed to beat the other 10 nominees for Student President.  A second year BIT student was announced as President of the Student Council at 11: 30 hrs by the outgoing President, Kanyanta Mubanga. The position of Vice President was scooped by Tulemye Mpengula who can be described as friendly. Andrew Mutuna and Lucia Nsontaula returned as Treasurer and Secretary respecitvely.   Kaongolo Nyambe and Choolwe Mwiinga have been elected as committee members bring the total to six (6) members. We wish the Student Council Executive  the very best and look forward to the service that Northrise University students will recieve. Kudos to you all!
